ABOUT
My name is Lucas Johnson and I am a photographic artist from New Zealand. I am currently living in Vancouver, Canada studying for my bachelor of fine arts at Emily Carr University of Art and Design with a major in photography.
I am interested in photography because of the mediums ability to convey a complicated narrative within the borders of a single frame. I believe that by combining this visual language with text and/or sound it becomes possible to express an emotion response by the viewer. Because of this I choose to use photography to express an array of issues that I feel are deeply important.
